MARENER Industries was the primary contractor for conversion of the MV Agile from a 140-meter cable-laying vessel to a subsea pipe-laying vessel. The conversion was a fast track project involving a multi-disciplined workforce. Over 19,000 man-hours were completed with a peak of 69 tradespeople in less than 40 days with no loss time accidents or safety incidents. Over 200 tonnes of steel was fabricated dockside and installed on the vessel in just over 30 days.
