MARENER Industries was contracted to fabricate and install custom engineered dynamic tensioning systems to support the MUX cable systems aboard the Eirik Raude drilling rig. The custom engineered systems proved successful and MARENER was later contracted to provide similar units for her sister ship the Leiv Eiriksson. The installations were completed offshore while the rigs were in operation by MARENER’s certified offshore installation team. This work was completed with no loss time accidents or safety incidents.
