MARENER Industries NL was contracted to complete a multi-scope annual alongside refit on the CCG MV Henry Larsen. The scope of work included: various piping and structural steel renewals; inspection and overhaul of the mechanical gangways and winch gearboxes; replacement of the main deck flooring; and the removal, overhaul and reinstallation of the deck cranes. MARENER Industries successfully completed the scheduled work, as well as many additional work-scopes, on time and on budget with no loss time accidents or safety incidents.
Over the past 10 years, MARENER Industries has successfully completed over 30 major project scopes for the Canadian Coast Guard including numerous annual refit and repair projects to their Atlantic Canadian fleet.
